Nice. PubSub increased the space race here and released their PubSub LinkRanks 1000:
The PubSub LinkRanks 1000 is a list of the most consistently influential sites that publish feeds, based on their average LinkRank scores from August 1st to August 30th, 2005. To learn more about LinkRanks, click here.
To create this list, we’ve averaged the daily LinkRanks of more than 15 million sources. We’ve also included a 15-day average as well as daily LinkRank data for August 30th as additional points of comparison.
This is twice as good as the Feedster 500 and 10x as good as the Technorati Top 100! :). That said it’s still not long tail enough. There are still 14,999,900 blogs that aren’t ranked here (in PubSub’s index). Still pretty damn cool.
I’m no where to be seen on the list (feedblog.org). Hopefully it’s not personal and just because my blog is so new.

Kevin, the reason you can’t find your SiteStats at PubSub.com is because you use a FeedBurner feed. We use the URL of the feed to capture statistics. 99% of the time, this is the “Right thing to do.” However, in the case of FeedBurner feeds, we realize that there is a problem since the feed is not in the same location as the blog. We are currently looking at modifying our system to better link FeedBurner feed data to the site it is for.
For now, to get your PubSub SiteStats, you have to look at:
http://www.pubsub.com/site_stats.php?site=feeds.feedburner.com/Feedblog
Also, you wrote: “There are still 14,999,900 blogs that aren’t ranked here (in PubSub’s index).” We talked about this quite a bit when we were deciding what to call our new stats page. The truth is that we do actually produce the “PubSub 15 million”, but a list of 15 million items is a bit difficult for most browsers to display! So, what we’ve done is shown the top 1,000 in a list and then you can get the LinkRank and other SiteStats for any of the other feeds by simply looking at the page or Atom feed that we provide for each site. Services that only rank a few hundred feeds don’t have this problem… If you have any suggestions on how to more easily display the “PubSub 15 million” please let me know. What we’re showing is still just a demo. We’ll do the real thing, updated daily, sometime next week. So, we’ve got time to incorporate any ideas you might have.
