It looks so detailed, I can’t imagine the hours sepnt in developing this … I remember playing a game called Eco back in the 80’s with a similar theme, watching the video has me hooked ! Will I be able to play on a Mac ??

If you think about it, this is a model of intelligent design, not evolution – not sure I like the implications…
That being said, it does look pretty cool.
BTW, you could have a drinking game based on this video and the mentions of the word ‘procedural’ ;-)

We were at lunch at ETech and talking about Spore and I did not it wasn’t evolution but Intelligent Design.
Though it’s not strictly design since this is lifecycle based so each generations designs are tested for fitness against the environment.
Super cool though. I’m totally going to get this game :)
