We’re trying to create podcasts for Barcamp SF this weekend yet we don’t have the hardware. Can anyone help us out?
Here’s the problem. We have eight rooms. We were thinking of having someone volunteer to record on their hardware directly but Powerbooks (70% of laptops in the audience) don’t have a powered line-in so the volume will be horrible.
What we really need are eight USB powered microphones or microphones with pre-amps. Can anyone donate the hardware for the weekend? Either that or if a sponsor can come up to help us with $150 or so to buy microphones at the last minute then this would be perfect!
