On Recent Blogosphere Spam 0

Just an FYI, Tailrank (and Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, pretty much anyone that crawls the web) was hit with a coordinated spam attack sometime last night and early this morning. This is similar to an attack that we found and documented before. Some jerk has hacked into a few hundred WordPress blogs and installed a trojan [...]

No good deed goes unpunished: A customer brought the laptop to Leapfrog Computers in Bolton on Monday to have it repaired, sales manager Jonathan Parry said. “A technician had a look at it, opened it up to have a look at the components inside, and when you actually open up the laptop and take off [...]

It isn’t as simple as 130% pricing: Apple has announced that iTunes will make individual AAC format tracks available from EMI artists at twice the sound quality of existing downloads, with their DRM removed, at a price of $1.29/€1.29/£0.99. [...]

Michael Crook: Please Send me a Fake DMCA! 2

The Pirate Experience is Superior to iTunes. 2

The DRM seriously killed the performance of my poor little powerbook and iTunes is a horrible movie player. I think what I’m going to do is pay iTunes but still download the files and play them outside of iTunes.
