Here’s the basic problem.If you do anything with web content you live and die by your traffic. Your site needs to be fast, online, and and you need to track your pageview numbers to see how your traffic is doing.

Silicon Beat covers the story of SolFocus (a clean power startup) and their recent VC round.What’s interesting is that multiple firms became involved which increased the valuation of the company. Instead of only raising $12.5M they raised $32M.

Except, in this case you’re not sharing the revenue but instead are donating to a cool company.
